The Undergraduate Economist newsletter signup only asks for your email address and uses it to send newsletter issues, confirmation emails, and delivery-related updates.
When you submit the form, the site sends your email address to Buttondown, our email delivery provider. When available, the request can also include your IP address and the referring page to help prevent abuse and troubleshoot delivery problems.
We use this information to manage newsletter subscriptions, confirm signups, send the newsletter, and understand whether a signup request needs delivery support.
You can unsubscribe from any newsletter email. If an address was previously unsubscribed or blocked by the email provider, the site may ask you to contact the team for manual help before it can be re-added.
